Calling All Designers! Zero Hero Competition

Competition brief

We are very excited to announce the very first ZeroHero Design Competition organized by Mediatree and aim to promote our sustainability project known as GreenerRoadshowsTM.

What are we looking for?

To have a Mascot / character that represents what we do at GreenerRoadshowsTM.

Sustainability is an issue we take seriously at Mediatree. We take steps to ensure that our environmental impact is minimised and that our social impact is maximised. This competition was created to engage with you and everyone in the artistic community about sustainability in the industry. We also hope that is can serve as an opportunity to build your portfolio and gain experience.

Wondering what in the world GreenerRoadshowsTM is?

Great question! GreenerRoadshowsTM are roadshows or financial events (Investor Days, CMDs, Results Presentations etc.) in which we team up with our client to mitigate the negative externalities of the IR activity as much as possible and then offset the remainder; the unavoidable damaging impact that IR activities have on the environment.

We want to go further than this and share our passion for sustainability with our industry and beyond. You may not necessarily be a designer but if you share our passion to create positive environmental change and have a great idea, we would love to see your entries!

The competition

For this competition, you need to design a character that represents what we do at GreenerRoadshowsTM. The character will be an identity for sustainability and a champion for net zero emissions. This competition is a chance for you to showcase your talent and ability, let your imagination run wild!

Judging and prizes

The submissions will be judged by an internal GreenerRoadshowsTM panel consisting of the directors of the company, the sustainability team, and the internal graphic designer.

Each submission will be assigned points based on certain criteria and the winner will be the submission with the highest total points.

1st place: £500 prize money, referenced in promotional materials

2nd Place: £250 prize money

3rd place: £100 prize money

Top 3 winners will receive a certificate signed by the CEO as a token of appreciation and confirmation of participation.

Top entries will receive mentions in social media pages and on our blog page to showcase the talents of the competitors.
